“ I always have a good experience here and the shrimp & grits is always on point. Nice atmosphere and vibes. Waitress knew the menu and made wonderful suggestions. Will definitely continue to back for great service and the food. ”
“ First off, headwrap off to the owner! . I hate bad service and will voice it! No ma'am, no sir. No complaints here!!! From the fried "crunchy, hot, not under or overly seasoned" chicken to the just right, not dry, meaty, fried whiting fish. Stop playing with me! The collards were dripping with an amazing taste of the turkey cooked in it. Not bitter, not sweet just freaking right. I'm sorry, I'm not use to this. To my favorite food ever. Yep, you guessed it, those "candid" yams. The best I ever had. I've tried them all. Ooooo, wait....the corn bread baby! Who makes corn bread like that? Don't go and not order the corn bread. Don't take my word for it. Taste for yourself. I'll be looking forward to seeing your review. High five and you're welcome. Who is this magical soul food queen? The waiters...the absolute best. They talked, joked and actually liked one another, while being attentive to our needs. They weren't rude nor ignored us. They were dressed professionally, neat and clean. Owner, you should be very proud of your staff. Jayden was on point. We didnt have to ask for anything. He was on it! And I've never met or seen him before today. I waved him over very discreetly. He responded immediately. That's right he "waited" on us. A hell of a job he did. Thanks Jayden. This place far exceeded my expectations. First time but won't be our last. And I'm yelling it to the roof top Thanks for being EXCEPTIONAL! ”
“ Orleans Bistro brings southern food, charm and a flavor pallet that will make your mouth water. From the friendly staff service to the aromatic scents that come the moment your plate is set down you won’t want to leave. My friend brought me for the first time and I am already planning my next trip. I recommend the southern fried chicken and every side I tried was like a home cooked Sunday family dinner. So delicious and flavorful and they have beignets! ”
“ Baby when I tell you well you already know if a review start with BABY it’s off the hook. I will say run don’t walk. The drinks are good the food is delicious as it is season I had the oysters rockafella with the pork chops gravy in the side Mac &cheese along with the collard greens. Now what I would say is that the greens were a little too sweet for my liking but don’t worry the have vinegar and Louisiana hot sauce to get it back on track. The cocktail I had was the liquid Mary Jane. My husband had the Cajun seafood pasta and a Long Island. I tasted his food it did not need a lick or drop of seasoning. Did I mention I got the gravy in the side for my pork chops definitely made from scratch. Keep doing what y’all doing in the kitchen , the servers, all the way down to the bar tender. Go pay this place a visit you will not be disappointed!!! ”
“ Love this place. The service is super awesome, all smiles and love. My wife had the fried chicken, that was crazy good. Their fried chicken and collard greens are savory and perfectly seasoned. The Mac and Cheese could use a bit more love but with the melted cheese top, it was great. I had the Fried Oyster Po'Boy. They fill you up with the protein of your choice, it is authentic as hell with the fried oysters literally falling out of the sandwich. The Oyster Rockefeller was our favorite thing. That ish was tasty as hell. The only thing that could make it better is some bread on the side to sop up those butter/cheese juices. ”
“ Please excuse the lighting on the pics, I drove down from MD to celebrate a cousin's birthday and was rushing to take pics to post as I normally post food pics on my socials but I was ready to eat. I'm one of those people who look at the menu of a place before I go, if it's planned in advance of course so this was no different. Being a self proclaimed foodie, I've ALWAYS wanted to visit New Orleans because duhhh they're rumored to have some of the best cuisine lol. I wanted to try a dish native to New Orleans but knew I had to get on the road to go out of town so I decided to play it safe and ordered the Smothered pork chops (I side eyed when he brought out the gravy on the side like that's not mine that's someone else's) he brought it back out the right way though so I was happy lol. Had it with the rice/Gravy, mac n cheese and added a side of cabbage. Everything was hot which I loved, except for the Cabbage it was cold but it was still so good, I didn't care tbh. My Grandmother ordered the catfish so I tried it (something I also thought of getting but didn't think it would stay crispy on our road trip) as well as her string beans, both were delicious. Being a country girl I am a tough critic on Cabbage, Greens and String Beans...these were good. I also tasted the Cornbread, nice texture, not too dense like some places and it was buttery, which I loved. I tasted my cousin's Salmon Bites, they were soooooo good, as the kids say "bussin bussin" Later I ordered the Beignets which I shared with the group, we all loved them. My first time tasting Beignets and they did NOT disappoint! I told my family I would be back soon, somebody's son is gonna bring me on a date there because I must return. Question is, next time do I order the Gumbo, Jambalaya or Catfish? To be continued... ”
“ You know when they say, "Hidden gem". This is it!! The food was amazing, DJ killed it, and the vibes were amazing. Locked in as my favorite restaurant in the Fredericksburg area. Don't meet me there, beat me there. Had the Rockefeller Oysters as an appetizer, gumbo, and beginets. All were second to none. Whatever yall doing, keep doing it. I will definitely be back, as long as the creek doesn't rise. ”
“ Ive visited Orleans Bistro & Grill twice-once for dinner & then for brunch. Both times did not disappoint! We tried a variety of menu items and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was nice, music was good, drinks were strong, food was amazingly delicious & the servers were exceptional! Special recognition to Koren who was very friendly, attentive & provided superb service. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend. ”
